Premier Local Coin Shop
The Goldbug Exchange is a local coin shop and precious metal dealer for gold and silver buyers and sellers who are seeking a professional, knowledgeable resource they can trust to treat them fairly and with respect. The shop opened its doors in May 2012 in downtown Beaver, Pennsylvania. Beaver County native Gene Snyder is an original founding partner and now sole owner.
Relationships are key to Gene, a life long Beaver County resident. He enjoys talking with clients and sharing his wealth of information with them. The shop’s neighborly atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
Gene’s goal is to promote an atmosphere where everyone is comfortable when they come to his shop to buy, sell or trade gold and silver, and to enhance and develop the reputation of the Goldbug Exchange as Beaver County’s premier coin shop.
Gene has been active in a number of business and service organizations. He is a past member of the Beaver area Chamber of Commerce and current member of the Rochester-Beaver Lions Club. He is a former director of both Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Beaver County and Leaders Serving Beaver County (LSBC). Gene has worked and consulted with a number of small business ventures in the local area. He is an alumni of Robert Morris College (1981) and graduate of Hopewell High School (1976). Gene now makes his home in Economy Borough with wife Donna.
